Linda, you might already have this book, but "What Would Jesus Do?" has been one of our favorites. It's by Mack Thomas and is a retelling of "In His Steps" by Charles Sheldon. (I've never read that one) It has lots of pictures and is a really sweet story. -Elisabeth
Hello Linda, You visited my site, so I thought I would come see yours.:o) Your question sent me looking at our many bookshelves to see what we have that would be appropiate for that age. My youngest is 5 at this point.
Many of the books that we have are for older children, but any book with really rich illustrations can be used. I will post some of the books that I found that you might be interested in with a few thoughts. God Bless! Karen
Here are soem books we read with our kids. 1. The Big Picture Story Bible - David Helm 2. Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers - Joey Allen 3. ESV Children's Bible - the notes were written by Sally Michael of Children Desiring God aka John Piper's Children's Ministry
I am just a girl from the midwest who fell in love with the Lord Jesus and also a guy named Steve. We were both engineers but have pursued a different calling. I am a stay at home mom and my husband is a youth pastor. I have many kids (80+ youth from 6th grade - 12th grade) and I have 3 children of my own. Our home is always full of laughter, youth and chaos. And I LOVE IT!

Ask Noelle about a cool Christmas book she has been reading Cody. Of course, its not exactly Christmas right now.
